Good morning
*Abu-Bakr's attitude towards the events of Israa (the Night Journey to Jerusalem) and Miraj (Ascension)
The disbelievers of Mecca scoffed at the Prophet when he told them about his journey the night before. They went to Abu Bakr to inform him about the Prophet's account of his journey, hoping that it will badly affect Abu Bakr's friendship with the Prophet. When they told him he asked, "Did he really say so?" "Yes," they answered. "Then it's true," said Abu Bakr. "Do you actually believe what he claims?" They asked, completely astounded. To that Abu Bakr replied, "Are you shocked that I believe he went to Jerusalem and came back the same night? But I believe him in what is further than this. I believe that the word of Allah is revealed to him any time day or night." Abu Bakr then went to see the Prophet to find him describing his journey to people. Whenever the Prophet said something, Abu Bakr would nod his head, saying, "You are truthful. I witness that you are indeed the messenger of Allah." Finally, the Prophet looked at him and said, O Abu Bakr, you are the truthful." Thus, Abu Bakr deserved the title As-Siddiq (very truthful, and one who never lies) and his strong faith in the Prophet's truthfulness helped the believers in Mecca hold on to
.their faith and removed all the doubts from their hearts
